Bare Beginnings: An interview with NudistJeff on Confidence, Community, and Living Nude

When it comes to living life unapologetically bare, few do it with as much passion and purpose as NudistJeff . As a dedicated nudist advocate, the leader of Perth Nude Friends , and a social media voice with over 14,000 followers , Jeff has become a visible force in Australia’s growing nude community. In this interview, he opens up about his personal journey into nudism—how it started, what it means to him today, and the impact it’s had on his confidence, connections, and sense of freedom. Whether you're nudist-curious or already living that no-clothes life, Jeff’s story is an inspiring reminder of what’s possible when you show up exactly as you are—no filters, no fabric. Source: https://bsky.app/profile/nudistjeff.bsky.social/post/3lqqadjsjt22y Q: How did you first get into nudism? What drew you to the lifestyle and made you say, “Yeah, this is for me”? What was the journey like. I was pretty shy about nudity growing up. I was a bit insecure in general, and was never one of the co...

Arousal Happens: Why Getting Turned On Isn’t a Nudist Crime

If you speak to most nudists, they’ll tell you that nudism isn’t sexual — and that’s true. But what many won’t openly say is that it’s perfectly normal to feel aroused from time to time. Think about it: you’re looking at a naked human body. Whether you’re gay, straight, bisexual, or anywhere in between, if you’re around someone you find attractive and they’re undressed, it’s natural for your body to react. Arousal is a hardwired human response — it doesn’t mean you’re being inappropriate, and it certainly doesn’t mean you’re doing nudism “wrong”. The key is how you handle it. For women and people without visible anatomy, it’s often easier to keep discreet. For men and those with penises, well... we’ve got a rather obvious flagpole that says, “Hey, I think you’re hot!” which can feel awkward or frustrating in a social nudist setting. The most important thing to remember is that getting an erection is a normal, involuntary response. If it happens, there’s no need to panic. Just take ...

Welcome to NUDISH: Embracing Nudity for a New Generation

If you’ve come across NUDISH, chances are you’re curious about nudism — or perhaps you’re already part of the community but have struggled to find spaces and conversations that truly reflect your experience. Either way, you’re in the right place. NUDISH is a new blog dedicated primarily to young nudists under 30, but anyone interested in body freedom and naturist living is welcome. Our aim is to offer a fresh perspective on nudism — one that’s inclusive, honest, and relevant to the challenges and joys of living openly in today’s world. Why NUDISH? Nudism can sometimes feel like an old-fashioned or niche interest, wrapped up in outdated stereotypes. Yet at its core, it’s about something timeless and deeply human: the freedom to live comfortably in your own skin. It’s about shedding societal pressures and reconnecting with nature and yourself. NUDISH aims to capture that spirit but through a lens that’s fresh, relatable, and tuned to the realities of younger generations. We want to c...
